Despite $17.5 Million Take Over Chief RemainsThere is to be no change in the positions of president and CEO at Harrah’s. Gary Loveman is expected to remain, despite the completion of the merger of Harrah's with affiliates of TPG and Apollo Management, L.P. which is slated to occur early in 2008. Since its beginning in Reno, Nevada, nearly 70 years ago, Harrah's has grown dramatically due to the development of new properties, expansions and acquisitions, and now owns or manages casinos on four continents. Harrah's Entertainment, Inc. is today the world's largest provider of branded casino entertainment. Harrah's also owns the London Clubs International family of casinos.
