Sunny Costa Rica sees ambushes and gun fights
Gambling 911, the Internet sportsbook information site, reports that a mugging attack was made on a gambling manager in San Pedro, Costa Rica, and has still not yet been identified. It seems that the victim is in hospital and until his family has been informed no identification specifics will be ensuing.
The attacked person, according to 911, is the proprietor of the one of the largest operations in gambling on the Internet. On Monday afternoon he was left for dead after being terribly beaten in the wake of a theft, when he was ambushed by three shooting attackers who attacked his Landrover vehicle. His bodyguards shot back at the assailants; all testifying to the Costa Rican's perilous criminal surroundings.
At the moment the victim is detained in hospital in an extremely serious condition.
Recalling similar past events, 911 mentions that Calvin Ayre from Bodog was mugged in the middle of the day when he shopped with real estate agents for new Costa Rican properties. And the ambushers shot his bodyguard in the shoulder. Recalling a different case, a partner in MVP Sportsbbook – has since gone out of business – was shopping in the posh Escazu location when his SUV was shot at, and in another incident, a partner in 911 was entering a pirate taxi when he was robbed and beaten up. Next month he now has to have considerable operations as he suffers from significant leg injuries.
