Jason Mercier triumphs in a central tourney after qualifying at PokerStars online
This weekend, Jason Mercier the Internet poker player beat a stars global entry field and won the first prize of one million three hundred and forty thousand eight hundred and sixty seven dollars in the PokerStars.com European Tour San Remo Championship in the wake of qualification in the PokerStars qualifier satellite tourney.
From the second day of the contest, the young player from America was the most prominent player, and he finally in less than three hours he finished off Anthony Lelouche, his last heads up competitor.
A worthy run of renowned players: Gregory Genovese of Italy, Anthony Lelouche of France, Marcus Bower of the United States, Dario Minieri and Eric Koskas and Dag Palovic from Slovakia and William Thorson of Sweden were faced down by Mercier in his fight to attain the title.
Running to second place in the finish, Lelouche put in his pocket seven hundred and seven nine thousand and two hundred and fifteen dollars.
