ECOOP Offers Poker Tournament Action for Online Poker Fans

Just when you thought you knew all the acronyms for international poker tournaments, VC Poker has come up with a new one. ECOOP, or the European Championship of Online Poker, will kick off in November with a guaranteed $2.5 million dollars up for grabs. Top players from all over the world are expected to participate in the ten events which will be held over ten days. The highlight of the tournament will be a $50,000 MVP Freeroll competition, where the title of 2007 ECOOP Most Valuable Player will be awarded to the lucky winner.

Pot Limit Omaha, Texas Holdem and Omaha Hi/Lo poker games will be included in the main events, each of which will offer a guaranteed prize pool. Players will also be in to win an exclusive ECOOP bracelet when they win.

The MVP Freeroll competition will be held at the end of the main event. During the tournament, the top performances of players can be gaged by following the rankings displayed on the MVP Leaderboard. The tournament's top 50 competitors ranked the highest on the MVP Leaderboard will go forward into the $50, 000 Freeroll competition.
