Single-Line Slots

It is very simple to play slots in a brick and mortar casino or online. To do so you need only insert casino chips into the slot, and pull the handle or in the case of online play, click on it. This appears in a ‘credit meter’ that may be seen on the face of the machine.

You can play a multi coin slot machine by dropping chips into a slot and pulling a handle or by clicking on it if you are playing online. You can also click on ‘spin’, the button that rotates the reels if playing online. There are three pay lines. After you click on the handle the wheels will spin each on its own, until they came to rest on those lines. The three pay lines are three horizontal lines across the face of the slot machine. A multi coin slot machine always activates all three play lines and this is without regard to the number of coins that are bet.

With reference to the posted table of payments, if a play line shows a winning combination, the machine pays out the posted amount by increasing the coin credits. This is shown as a credit meter on the face of the machine. Multiple winning combinations are added up. In the case say that you have come up with two winning combinations, say on lines 2 and 3, then you are paid for both lines.

Playing 3-Line Slots

The multi-coin slots are played by dropping casino chips into a slot and then pulling a handle or clicking if playing online. You can also click on the ‘spin’ button to set the reels in motion. If accordance with the posted payout table, any of the play lines show a winning combination, the slot machine automatically pays out the necessary amount through the player’s coin credits being increased is indicated by the ‘credit’ meter on the machine’s face. Any multiple winning combinations are added up. That means if the player has come up with winning combinations on both lines 1 and 3, then he or she is paid for both winning lines.

Playing Multi-line Slot Machines

One to three coins may be bet in order to activate 1 to 3 play lines. The number of coins bet matches the number of lines activated. After the coins are submitted, the activated play lines are lit up, while the inactive play lines are grayed out.

In the event that an activated line displays a winning combination in accordance with the posted payout table, the machine pays out the set amount(s). This is done through increasing the player’s coin credits. These credits are indicated by the ‘credit’ meter on the face of the slot machine. When there are multiple winning combinations that are hit, these are added together. An example might be the advent of hitting winning combinations on lines 1 and 2, which would result in both lines being paid.  

Playing 5-Line Slots

Drop casino chips into the multi-coin slot machine and move the handle by clicking on it or click on the ‘spin’ button to spin the independent reels. After the reels have spun independently, they will randomly come to rest on various symbols of the five Play Lines. These are 3 horizontal lines that run across the reels along with 2 diagonal lines. When playing the multi-coin slot machine you will always activate all 5 play lines. This does not depend on the number of coins that are bet.
